Fwd: Fw: Grumpy old men & women fix Australia [SEC=UNOFFICIAL]

From our former priest:

I absolutely love this, who-ever thought it up is a genius,  they need congratulating.    enjoy

Dear Mr. Abbot as the official replacement for  Mr Rudd.

Please find below our suggestion for fixing Australia 's economy.

Instead of giving billions of dollars to banks that will squander the money on lavish parties and unearned bonuses, use the following plan..
You can call it the Patriotic Retirement Plan:

There are about 10 million people over 50 in the work force.

Pay them $1 million each severance for early retirement with the following stipulations:

     1) They MUST retire.
Ten million job openings - unemployment fixed

     2) They MUST buy a new Australian car.
Ten million cars ordered - Car Industry fixed

     3) They MUST either buy a house or pay off their mortgage -
     Housing Crisis fixed

     4) They MUST send their kids to school/college/university -
     Crime rate fixed

     5) They MUST buy $100 WORTH of alcohol/tobacco a week .......
and there's your money back in duty/tax etc

     6) Instead of stuffing around with the carbon emissions trading scheme that makes us pay for the major polluters, tell the greedy bastards to
reduce their pollution emissions by 75% within 5 years or we shut them down.

It can't get any easier than that!

P.S. If more money is needed, have all members of parliament pay back their falsely claimed expenses and second home allowances

If you think this would work, please forward to everyone you know. If not, please disregard.

     Grumpies of the World Unite

     Also .

Let's put the pensioners in jail and the criminals in a nursing home.

This way the pensioners would have access to showers, hobbies and walks.
They'd receive unlimited free prescriptions, dental and medical treatment, wheel chairs etc and they'd receive money instead of paying it out.
They would have constant video monitoring, so they could be helped instantly, if they fell, or needed assistance.
Bedding would be washed twice a week, and all clothing would be ironed and returned to them.
A guard would check on them every 20 minutes and bring their meals and snacks to their cell.
They would have family visits in a suite built for that purpose.
They would have access to a library, weight room, spiritual counselling, pool and education.
Simple clothing, shoes, slippers, PJ's and legal aid would be free, on request.
Private, secure rooms for all, with an exercise outdoor yard, with gardens.
Each senior could have a PC a TV radio and daily phone calls.
There would be a board of directors to hear complaints, and the guards would have a code of conduct that would be strictly adhered to.

The criminals would get cold food, be left all alone and unsupervised.
Lights off at 8pm, and showers once a week.  Live in a tiny room and pay
$600.00 per week and have no hope of ever getting out.

Think about this (more points of contention):
THE AUSTRALIAN CONSTITUTION They keep talking about drafting a Constitution for Iraq ... Why don't we just give them ours?
It was drawn up by a lot of really smart guys, it has worked for centuries and we're not using it anymore.
The real reason that we can't have the Ten Commandments posted in a courthouse or Parliament, is this -
You cannot post 'Thou Shalt Not Steal',
'Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery' and
'Thou Shall Not Lie' in a building full of lawyers, judges and politicians......
It creates a hostile work environment.
Think about this .... If you don't want to forward this for fear of offending someone --
It is time for us grumpy old folk of Australia to speak up!

"Farm Contingency Plan" a conference of Farmers

FARM CONTINGENCY PLAN is a permanent conference ran by LFT-Australia and it's volunteers with the goal to search, evaluate and set up alternatives for our farmers to diversify their:
  1. economy
  2. markets
  3. influence

Who is part of the guest speackers:
  1. Farmers and pastoralists
  2. Key business groups connected or related to agriculture
  3. Government and community leaders
  4. Rural businesses

The conference deals with with:
  1. Globalisation and Free trade agreements: how it's affecting the economy of the farm?
  2. Market, promotion and advertising: can farms compete in a corporate world?
  3. Debt management: consumers can shave their earnings and support a farm get out of the slavery of debt?

  • Examine the problems affecting our farms giving farmers a voice
  • Explore alternatives to diversify the farm access to funding
  • Select prospective key business to raise an emergency fund for the local farmers involved
  • Cooperation and Leadership
  • Professional development
  • Managing communication with consumer
The conference will advance the objectives by:
"exploring better answers to the crisis affecting our farms while fostering the development and improvement of economy diversification; promoting diversification of alternatives by boosting closer connections with local and international businesses to develop their potential; defending and promoting respect for human rights."

First conference (trial): 31-October-2013 to 30-November-2013

"Farmer Markets?" It looks more like wholesalers' markets!

There are people proffiting from the good will of consumers that want to help farmers bu when they arrive to those places, it looks more like a festival full of retailers, wholesalers, shops and restaurants.

We asked "were are the farmers?" And they were no more than 5 or 7 in the wholeplace! Clearly those profitting from it should be aware of the problematic facing our farms and cooperate with us to explore other venues how the farmer can diversify and profit from it too.

LFT will ask the support of Jerry, Shane and Merv to add content to this. We bought a directory system and an offline promotion program that can help commuity groups to raise awareness of their issues as well as to create another donation stream if they help us in the promotion.

What we need from the volunteers:
  1. explain the issue of the so called "farmers' markets"
  2. are farmers extinct species  in those markets?
  3. do farmers have a negotiation body to communicate their issues to the markets' managers?

RIP Australian grown vegies - please read

Some of us love our designer labels. We buy premium brand shoes,
premium brand clothing and well known premium perfumes and handbags.
BUT .. we also look buy the cheapest food we can for our children to
eat. That doesn't make sense.
Think about this:-
The ONLY Australian manufacturer of frozen Australian grown vegetables
(Simplot Australia) is not far from closing because a number of the
other well known Australian brands have moved their plants to New
Zealand in order to capture the Chinese vegetable market where they
market via New Zealand to Australian tables (without the food being
labelled specifically as Chinese) and Simplot is finding it hard to
compete. This was shown on the program Landline on the ABC (Sunday 15/9).
TOTALLY OUTSIDE OF AUSTRALIA. For a number of reasons this is not a good
1. As most people know, other countries do not necessarily have the
strict guidelines for growing their vegetables that Australia has and by
buying Australian we can be sure that lethal chemicals that may be used
in other countries will not be used on Australian vegetables.
2. We would be keeping Australians in jobs.
3. If ever the world became unstable regarding wartime we would not be
able to feed ourselves.
It is imperative that we all support these Australian brands selling
good Australian vegetable products (via Simplot).
Next time you shop, please think about the future of Australian food.
Forwarded by me in the interests of a sustainable Australia. Please send
it on.

You would be surprised what our Australian health officials are up to overseas

This is an urgent message to all Australians,

Have you ever wondered what our health officials are up to overseas? So
far it's been impossible to find out, since so much national and global
policy is made behind closed doors and policymakers are very secretive
about making their activities public. Until now, that is.

Would it surprise you to know that our bureaucrats are using our tax
money to force us into eating food that contains dangerous toxins and
contaminants? And Australian officials have been very successful at
lobbying foreign governments to poison their food chain as well. It
sounds counter intuitive, but unfortunately its true, and we're not
terribly popular with most of the rest of the world for being the
cheerleaders for some very unethical industries. And that's not all;
wait until you find out about the rest of it. Is this what Australians
want to be known for in the rest of the world?

You would not have found any of this out, were it not for Scott Tips JD,
who has put his legal practice aside to become a watchdog for the world
at the annual and very secretive CODEX meetings. He has issued a special
report exclusively for Australians to inform us of our health official's
activities in the international arena. We should thank him for that.

If we send this email with the special report attached to all our
contacts and take some action we can let our unelected officials know
our views on their activities. If we take urgent action now, we can help
change the course of history during the next CODEX meeting. Here's how:

The special report is attached to this email or it can be read at:

More about Scott Tipps and the National Health Federation here:

Please spread this news to every contact, relative and friend. You will
not hear this on the media and it is imperative for all Australians to
know what our unelected officials are doing so we can safeguard our
families and stop these activities. Here's your chance to make a
difference and be proud to be Australian.

Farm Management (with CSA-A)

LFT-Australia has appointed CSA-A as one of our "farm managers". The farm managers are in charge of:
  • Education
  • Market research
  • Networking
  • Consumers access
  • Crop planning
As well they organise:
  1. car rallies
  2. speech events
  3. other fund-raising events to help our farm owner
Apply today, just $150 for your first training: click here

Emergency small fund for farmers

Is ready for a rainy day if you:
  1. are a farmer
  2. have been registered as a member of LFT
  3. helped LFT with referals, posts in our blog/directory
  4. undertook a "cross-pollination plan" (LFT refers to you and you to us), and
  5. those actions generated employment for our volunteers
Conditions: you need to pay it back to keep the money available for other people too. The fund available is $1,000 and we request you to pay $60 every week.

Where to go if this is not for you: if you are experiencing a critical issue, you could go to Saint Vincent de Paul or your local Red Cross: support to pay invoices or help with food. As well there are some food banks were you can ask for help.

How we shave capital from our volunteers wages: after you helped LFT (read the above how), we ask our volunteers to shave some cash from what they are paid (in case of a donation or payment from their services  is made thanks to your help.

Can we give help you overnight: no, all farmers must follow the same system and we cannot move people in the queue

How we made this possible: LFT invest in business developments. Do we invest cash: no, never. What do we invest: technologies, connections, leverage creation, consulting, negotiation processes, those sort of things...

Where do we invest: in creating potential for a business not to pay for their debts or costs. We invest in what it takes to move businesses into "Potential Creation".  We do not offer any financial support beyond the emergency fund for accredited farmers that have worked with us.

Where to start:
  1. get a farm management plan ASAP from LFT: Click here.
  2. learn how we got 1.5 acres free: read more
  3. get into the rally: buy one ticket

Research on Ignatian voices (Tony de Mello -SJ- and Ignacio Ellacuria -SJ-)

About Ellacu, how his friends used to call him. Tony de Mello, one of the best non-violent trainers and psychotherapist we have study so far in the area of biocyberentics applied to practical mathematics.  POST SCRIPT.

Why this? Well, there are changes in law all over the world and we want to inform people about it and how -if not well managed- military/corporate governments will be the norm as the David Wallace pointed in his novel Infinit Jest.

The trigger of this particular research request has been the fast law changes in South East Asia and Australia, and we seek to be fired by the poignant Hysterical realism of the New Yorker David Foster Wallace

What we expect in the researchers/writers works: Include Wallace and some of the latest works of the Irish novelist, short story writer, essayist, playwright, journalist, critic and poet Mr. Colm Toibin, and the staccato achieved in his fictional Mary.

But coming back to our Jesuit priests: The epistemological mix of both priests' algorithmic reactions to their life's time-frame (one in India and the other in Latin America) can help to heal the past of histories like Lil Milagro who's researched Ryan Hightower Wilson (web) produced a great deal of information in the Northern Arizona University.

The focus of this particular biocybernetic information analysis is: that at the basis of all revolutions (science, politics, spiritual, economy) farmers and rural people is taken as the wheels of such changes... but, as we have seen in many young revels of the 60's or 70's, now the interest in our farmers has lessen.

We hope that the output will bring some light and justice to the young-ones like Lil Milagro: who fought for a change and died for it in her country, while others -like Tony de Mello- confronted the issue in de "individual person to person basis" to be fought in the state of the mind and not with guns.

On the other hand: It's interesting to see that Roberto D'Aubuisson (a former military and political leader in El Salvador) is portrayed by Ellacuria (historically branded a leftists from the media) as someone interested in "negotiate peace".

The participants (from 5 to 10) in this research will obtain the support for:
  1. $3,500 for information analysis from LFT's volunteers
  2. $4,000 for grant research plans (from $5,000 to $25,000 -the grants you can apply)
  3. $2,500 for web presence and negotiation
Tot:  $10,000 in resources and services from LFT's volunteers for each researcher.

Conditions: all applicants must obtain a membership at LFT-Australia.
Closing of applications: 1/February/2014.
Project starts/close: 5/June/2014 5/Sept/2014

LFT-Australia is negotiating with key people from:
  • Northern Arizona University
  • El Salvador University
  • Australian and International Red Cross
  • as well as the School of Education at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia.

From Nicholas. (Farmer and surfer member of LFT)

Hi Ruben

Great to speak with you today! I've been trying to get in touch with someone from Billabong without success. I am fond of the company because they are Australian and I'm an Australian surfer. I've been following their story for quite some time.
I believe I have a great product to offer them (with an Australian patent) and I'd like to be a part of their rebuilding process.

If Billabong are not interested however, I'll do business with any of the major surf brands.

Have a great trip to ---!

Alternative Economies and how we got 1.5 acres last week

It's incredible how communication can make or break opportunities. Last week we were invited to a presentation of banner brokers (review), instead we kept going in our own system at LFT-Australia and before the end of the week we traded our skills for accomodation.

Farmer Kevin agreed to give us 1.5 acres of land to live indefinitely if I:

  1. design a genetic algorithm (as a volunteer from LFT) to help him explore options for him to invest in from our network
  2. help the farm to grow (some consulting services from LFT and it's members)
  3. review his plans and suggest other options
Only when considerable financial steps -this is money from LFT, at least $80k- can come to Kevin, he will give me the title of the property.

Well, in your face red paper clip! The next day another farmer offered the same deal and we are expecting more doing it. That shows the flexibility of new economies and trading systems based in "information hitches" coming from the business gym of LFT-Australia.

Car Rally  (or through video online)

Cost $150

You get:
  1. Access to LFT-Australia
  2. Free training material
  3. Get to know the farms
  4. How we work with them
  5. What is the opportunity for you
NOTE: We shave our wages = The earnings are used to help our farmers pay their debts

Were do we have rallies:
  1. Queensland
  2. New South Wales
  3. Western Australia
Buy you rally ticket: some rally's are just a speech of our farmers in a coffee shop, so don't worry if you don't want to drive the whole day! http://www.lftaustralia.com/product/rally-ticket/

Help a farmer

Help a farmer and develop more access to opportunities

Is the Internet making us stupid, selfish and isolated? Scientific evidence reveals that fragmentation and consumerism prompts our brains into secluded actions lacking interest or consideration towards others. If you multiply that in the scale that is happening, a generation of desensitise and disconnected individuals is a risk we cannot avoid. LFT offers a message of trust to recover the meaning of humanity.

A good connection is everything you need: "Einstein wouldn't be Einstein without Max Plank." You need to find someone with a following to believe in you. We give you the chance, come in and volunteer with us.

We are volunteers exchanging information in a 'consumers directory': our founders were able to discover that "better connections bring better opportunities", they explored Albert Einstein example, he was an office worker before he met Max Plank who open the door to Einstein fame. He was not the only one... almost every famous people follow the motion-pattern 'right time, right place and right mind.'

Contacts is not connectivity: you may have a mountain of contacts but does it amount as a good opportunity in your life? If not, you should move to create connectivity to enable the motion-pattern.

LFT has 3 basic principles:
  1. LFT is a voluntary act: we are volunteers trying to help each other and posting information in the directory
  2. Nurture fraternal relationships: by sharing information to connect with possible opportunities
  3. Create a culture of trust: by lending from our labour or wages with people that need it in our network at no interest
A process of several hitches: in form of information from our members, took LFT-Australia in a process of exchanging knowledge and opportunities that started with only $0.20 in their pocket. And now they have helped farmers and people lacking the trust of others by enabling a process to have a more fulfilled life in this digital culture.

Wordpress more memory to PHP

Increasing memory allocated to PHP

Also released with Version 2.5, the WP_MEMORY_LIMIT option allows you to specify the maximum amount of memory that can be consumed by PHP. This setting may be necessary in the event you receive a message such as "Allowed memory size of xxxxxx bytes exhausted".
This setting increases PHP Memory only for WordPress, not other applications. By default, WordPress will attempt to increase memory allocated to PHP to 40MB (code is at beginning of wp-settings.php), so the setting in wp-config.php should reflect something higher than 40MB.
WordPress will automatically check if PHP has been allocated less memory than the entered value before utilizing this function. For example, if PHP has been allocated 64MB, there is no need to set this value to 64M as WordPress will automatically use all 64MB if need be.
Please note, this setting may not work if your host does not allow for increasing the PHP memory limit--in that event, contact your host to increase the PHP memory limit. Also, note that many hosts set the PHP limit at 8MB.
Increase PHP Memory to 64MB
define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '64M' );
Increase PHP Memory to 96MB
define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '96M' );
When in the administration area, the memory can be increased or decreased from the WP_MEMORY_LIMIT by defining WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT.
define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' );

From Newdegate

Wonderful article by Dr Christine Jones, who said in March, that if she could legislate, she would legislate that every farmer farm like Nick Kelly.

Catherine J. Kelly,
Hollands Track Farm,
Newdegate 6355

Not pushing it

a quoted chapter from Fr. Tony de Mello:
"Meditating on and imitating externally the behavior of Jesus is no help. It’s not a question of imitating Christ, it’s a question of becoming what Jesus was. It’s a question of becoming Christ, becoming aware, understanding what’s going on within you.

All the other methods we use for self-change could be compared to pushing a car. Let’s suppose you have to travel to a distant city. The car breaks down along the way. Well, too bad; the car’s broken down. So we roll up our sleeves and begin to push the car. And we push and push and push and push, till we get to the dist ant city. “Well,” we say, “we made it.” And then we push the car all the way to another city! You say, “We got there, didn’t we?”

But do you call this life? You know what you need? You need an expert, you need a mechanic to lift the hood and change the sp ark plug. Turn the ignition key and the car moves. You need the expert—you need understanding, insight, awareness—you don’t need pushing. You don’t need effort.

That’s why people are so tired, so weary. You and I were trained to be dissatisfied with ourselves. That’s where the evil comes from psychologically. We’re always dissatisfied, we’re always discontented, we’re always pushing. Go on, put out more effort, more  and more effort. But there’s always that conflict inside; there’s very little understanding."

Note from LFT:
Same happens with your communications, you either struggle with efforts or talk to specialists at LFT to help you improve your strong points in your communication.

LFT intro

LFT is an open network of people keen to volunteer part of their wages to lend our local farmers (including pastoralists, rural businesses and indigenous groups) in exchange of key contacts and support to grow a better market presence online.

The process is called "salami saving", opposite of slicing. Salami slicing or penny shaving, is the fraudulent practice of stealing money repeatedly in extremely small quantities." more info about salami slicing

When the farmer shares information that can become an opportunity for an LFT member: the member starts a salami saving process, which is "the valid and honest practice of lending money repeatedly in extremely small quantities" using Kiva, a hand shake or other peer-lending companies.

In this way farmers are diversifying their options to obtain funds help from non-traditional sources: with a worldwide need of support, you can have a salami saving process of one person or one hundred. It's entirely up to you.

The process allows LFT to run a "cooperative production of opportunities" (CPOS) system to help our members connect with each other by spreading costs and reducing risks to bring a solution to one of the biggest problems in our world economy: "There is a never ending tide of people/businesses with skills but without the right support to review ways to access opportunities by improving communication/information systems keen to offer their salami savings to those who help them."

LFT's CPOS has it's own free software, operative system and online scripts to give freedom from corporations, political, financial and religious barriers. While others only use 'cooperative consumption', for our farmers that was not good enough. Since a 'production' widget was needed to create funds our CPOS delivered a sustainable answer: LFT's volunteers pay with their wages needs or opportunities for our local farmers.

Different CPO's are fuelling our "Consumers' Directory" from where 'reverse advertising campaigns' are initiated giving consumers the power to benefit from the monopoly of Advertising. Those using the advertising plans in the directory have access to:
- grants exploration
- networking
- business tandems

To support or seek support in our network you need to remember the 4 realities:
- Distance: Never approach a bull from the front, a horse from the rear, or a fool from any direction.
- Security: never squat with your spurs on, don't offer want you can't deliver.
- Health: always drink upstream the cattle if you don't want to get sick.
- Efficiency: keep good company, if you are with losers/winners chances are you'll turn into one.

We have a quick guide (one page only) linking videos and other information that inspired our volunteers. The Hitchhikers guide to EMC2 is free. On it we explore the benefits of an information "hitch" and how -one after another- we can get to our goal.

You can be trained in the Hitchhikers guide to EMC2 free of charge. We host one free training every month. You only need to have a current membership. LFT allows the time and support to improve your communication instead of pushing: listen this or read it.

International Indigenous Conference

Hosted in Australia every year by a different tribe leader. The MC will be a leader of a different group every 6 months.

Advertising will be run from the directory (http://www.lftaustralia.com/directory/). If you'd like to be the MC for the next conference please get in touch with LFT at: http://lftaustralia.com/support/open.php

Collaborative production of opportunities

more here

CSA-A is good for farmers

The distribution plan of CSA-A to feed cities with the farms around it is good because it:
  1. reduces overheads in the farms
  2. reduces maintenance cost in transport fleet
  3. increases market presence with consumers
  4. increases the alliance of consumers with retailers and producers
The CSA-Alliance logistics of its distribution system deploys a consistent program including not only the transport from 'farm to cities' but generate an ongoing empowering scheme to be in control of our food and not be fed like poultry!

We want to raise $20,000 to buy more equipment for this process.

Hitchhiking your way up the ladder

In Biocybernetics we base business processes using mathematics. One of the basic equations we use is the Einstein's E=mc2 (or mc^2).

LFT-Australia has a "consumers' directory" system from where consumers enact their rights and benefit from a particular 'reverse advertising' (RA) process. Our RA enables them to explore other venues to benefit from the inmense industry if advertising and apply for peer to peer lending from LFT-Australia's members' wages.

In the past, LFT members used to volunteer our wages to help local farmers with what we can with the condition to be repaid without any interest. The system is growing day by day and the founders had NO intention to generate another mega corporation feeding from the need of the people.

So, the system was released under a simple method, a one page guide called "Hitchhikers Guide to E=MC2". LFT holds a database that mergers skillful people with their connections and opportunities. In this way we could isolate the variable that can make a big change: C.

In Einstein's theory, "C" stands for the speed of light square. "E" or the energy released by multiplying a minimalistic amount of mass "M". For example, the chain reaction of 10 grams of plutonium was able to release 160 Kilotons (equal to 160,000 tons of TNT) in Hiroshima.

LFT has developed a bridge between energy, cash and mathematics in a very simple way: "collaborative production of opportunities to share our wages with those who need it."

Here's a direct example with farmer Phil. He needs to buy a truck and LFT invited Phil to become a member and benefit from our collaborative production plan with E=MC2.

Let's clear the variables:
E= energy (in this case money that Phil can get from LFT as peer loan) = $3,000
M= money he can pay to activate the system = $450 (for business connection)
C= communication and contacts (number of people or steps to reach the goal)

$3,000 = MC2  (he can borrow $3,000 from LFT)
            = ($450) x C2
       C2= $3,000/$450
C2= 6.67 approx to 7 trades or people

In few words: It means that Phil has to connect 7 people in his network to access LFT's directory by paying $450 each one. They get a service of:
- grants access
- grants exploration
- networking
- business tandem among other things

In this way Phil can borrow $3,000 from a service that was paid by LFT without risking too much.

Note: the quantity/quality of "M" defines the consumption capacity of his network. The old saying "the company you keep" can be transformed in a financial asset with it.

biocybernetic analyst

Biocynertics = "the application of mathematical theory to communication and control in living organisms, especially regarding physiological feedback mechanisms and central nervous system control. "

Why: Information to move forward is crucial; the Internet is confusing more and more due it's amount of useless information; a process to clear data into useful information is not an option.

Alternatives: if you are not in the know you are with the looser team.

Some of our services:
- sift data from field operators and historical sources
- information maintenance (p2p, news, negotiations, intelligence reporting)
- accuracy reviewing and valuing details
- interpret data towards "conclusions and measures"
- protect our client/member's interest by enabling a better information management process
- deliver education plans for data management
