The reading club at LFT-Australia

"For those who come across the seas
We've boundless plains to share;
With courage let us all combine
To Advance the Australia Fair"
-Australian National Anthem'

LFT = Let's Fair Trade, fair as if fair dinkum. To support ethics and sustainable development practices.

An LFT member took us to the 2000 Jubile event in Brisbane (Australia). That bit and the 'debt release to the third wold nations" (as part of the traditional Shmita's end of cycle Jubile Year) started our interest in the word "liberation" until we reached the software's user liberation philosophy and were able to act in many, many fronts. From education to financial liberation.

Books, CD's, DVD's. Newsletters and other information started to pile up in our desk, dining tables, bedrooms, cars, back packs, chairs and sofas! Almost anywhere we could keep those great sources of data to process -eventually-.

In doing so, our members and supporters have shared software, ideas, issues and books around the world, propagating seed for change.

Following our shared economy -lived and promoted my the LFT-Australia Club- and in not particular order, our members started to pro-actively share more and more information; in hard and soft copies (books and digital information). Hence they started -without declaring it- a "reading club inside our club".

Follow ups to those contents or even to raw data collected by some member or friends listening to the radio news show, reading newspaper, TV shows (or documentaries) became a fashion and strengthen our connections within the LFT's club as friends and concerned people about a particular issue.

Our "reading club" aims to foster more exchange of information to reach that "fair dinkum" between us, our society members and the planet as a whole.

Welcome to the exchange and have fun making a better life for yourself, a better humanity for us all and a better world one page at a time!
