Emergency small fund for farmers

Is ready for a rainy day if you:
  1. are a farmer
  2. have been registered as a member of LFT
  3. helped LFT with referals, posts in our blog/directory
  4. undertook a "cross-pollination plan" (LFT refers to you and you to us), and
  5. those actions generated employment for our volunteers
Conditions: you need to pay it back to keep the money available for other people too. The fund available is $1,000 and we request you to pay $60 every week.

Where to go if this is not for you: if you are experiencing a critical issue, you could go to Saint Vincent de Paul or your local Red Cross: support to pay invoices or help with food. As well there are some food banks were you can ask for help.

How we shave capital from our volunteers wages: after you helped LFT (read the above how), we ask our volunteers to shave some cash from what they are paid (in case of a donation or payment from their services  is made thanks to your help.

Can we give help you overnight: no, all farmers must follow the same system and we cannot move people in the queue

How we made this possible: LFT invest in business developments. Do we invest cash: no, never. What do we invest: technologies, connections, leverage creation, consulting, negotiation processes, those sort of things...

Where do we invest: in creating potential for a business not to pay for their debts or costs. We invest in what it takes to move businesses into "Potential Creation".  We do not offer any financial support beyond the emergency fund for accredited farmers that have worked with us.

Where to start:
  1. get a farm management plan ASAP from LFT: Click here.
  2. learn how we got 1.5 acres free: read more
  3. get into the rally: buy one ticket
