Definition:
Noun:the action of buying and selling goods and services.
Verb: Exchange (something) for something else, typically as a commercial transaction.
We can perceive trade, we have used a transport system to come to this trade, a computer or paper to read it, a road to walk or drive to come here, etc.
Trade has even a persons-like characteristics:
- it has a body: you can see it every morning with hundreds of cars going to work to trade their time for something else
- makes sound: you can perceive the hustle and bustle
- creates waste/resources: the goods we use and the waste we produce
LFT incorporates the sense of fairness into it, developing a new concept to an old knowledge: from the macro to the micro, from the society to de individual, from the saying to the doing, from the thinking to the cash-in-pocket.
We can find concepts referring to "trade system" hidden even in spiritual teachings, eg. when Jesus respond to the man trying to stone a "woman caught in the act of adultery". His response was: "the one who has never sinned throw the first stone!" The trading of the woman who creating an unfair, unjust and unbalanced system for her actions was removed instantly; the men who has "traded" with systems like those (sin), "slipped away one by one".
If we move into the economic realm, we can study the "anxiety of debt". The implications in health, peace and violent behaviour that costs millions of dollars every year to governments all over the world.
From the micro-credits we established a macro-credit system with farmers in Australia. Following a fair deal for both, the farmer and the consumer who allied fair-trade investors and idea's proponents into a LFT trilogy: property owner, fair trade investor and idea's proponent (or job-seeker).
Their fair actions following a fair-trade agreement, supported the farmer to pay his/her debt, the fairtrade investor to know the market and the jobseeker to land a job. All this without money requested to governments, grants or charity. The system is self-sustained.
Black and White
We are in a dual world, no cash means can't pay the bills.
The truck of the internet will take you if you don't step back and learn to be fair with your mind.
